The #NJDevils announce they’ve signed D Anton Silayev to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Silayev, 20, was the 10th-overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. He had played 187 career KHL games.

Listed at 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds.

Tremendously sad news. All the best to Claude’s family and friends. May he rest in peace.

The NHL Alumni Association is devastated to share that Claude Lemieux has passed away at the age of 60.

Born in Buckingham, Quebec, Claude was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft and would make his NHL debut just a few months later

For those curious, the newly-relocated Trenton Ironhawks of the ECHL will be the affiliate of the New York Islanders.

New Jersey will stay affiliated with Adirondack and funny enough, Trenton’s home opener at Cure Insurance Arena will be against Adirondack.
