Overview

The New Jersey Devils look to inch their way closer to the 100-point mark tonight as they take on the Minnesota Wild. While Minnesota has been red-hot as of late, the Devils are hoping to continue playing well themselves.

After losing three in a row for the first time since December, the Devils snapped the skid they were in with a convincing 5-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Devils hold a record of 45-18-7 and are second place in the Metropolitan Division. The Wild are 40-22-8 and sit second in the Central Division.

Keys to the Game

30 Rock

After four combined tallies Sunday from Jesper Bratt and Nico Hischier, the Devils officially have four 30-goal scorers. That is the most they’ve had in a single season since 1989-90, which even then is a hard comparison since that was a higher scoring era.

The team’s four 30 goal scorers this season are Jack Hughes, Timo Meier, Nico Hischier, and Jesper Bratt.

Kirill Isn’t Thrilling

After injuring himself in a scary incident a couple weeks ago, Kirill Kaprizov has yet to return. He is a huge loss as Kaprizov has been one of the best players in the NHL since arriving onto the scene in 2021. Kaprizov is currently listed as day-to-day and should be ready for the start of the playoffs.

Tonight’s game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM ET puck drop and can be seen on MSG SportsNet.
