The New Jersey Devils (37-15-5) are turning the page after last game’s defeat. Tonight, they welcome the Los Angeles Kings (32-19-7) to town. These two teams have met before as the Devils won that matchup 5-2 earlier this season.
Both teams sit in second place in their respective divisions. Each team is within striking distance of first place and every two points matter. Los Angeles is just two points back of Vegas, whereas New Jersey is five back of Carolina and three ahead of the New York Rangers.

Who To Watch For
Adrian Kempe
Los Angeles has weapons all over the lineup. Though, one player that is scorching hot is Adrian Kempe. Kempe is on a six-game point streak and has 11 points during that span. In addition, he has found the back of the net eight times including a four-goal game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Dawson Mercer
All eyes will forever and always be on Jack Hughes. He has carried the workload offensively as he cements his case for MVP. The biggest concern is depth scoring and someone who can step up. That player, as of late, has been Dawson Mercer.
After a rough start to the month, he has turned it around. In his last five games, he has five goals and six points. He has had two multi-point games in that span, highlighted by a two-goal performance against Winnipeg.
