The New Jersey Devils are back in action tonight as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins. New Jersey is coming off a 1-0 overtime victory against the Philadelphia Flyers. John Moore picked up his first game-winning goal of the season, and Keith Kinkaid made 35 saves in his shutout victory. The Penguins are coming off a comfortable 4-1 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The season series between these teams is 4-0 in favor of Pittsburgh. The Devils will look to salvage one game this year tonight at 7:00.

Players to Watch

For obvious reasons, the Penguins player to watch out for is number 87 Sidney Crosby. The best player in the league this season has a total of 86 points (43 G, 43 A). He is having a career season right now and it is amazing what he can do at any point of a game. It always can make a person wonder where his stats would be if he did not get injured a few years ago. Cory Schneider and the Devils are going to need to find a way to contain him.

If the Devils want to win, look no further than the usual suspects. Taylor Hall, Kyle Palmieri and Adam Henrique. When it comes to a power house team like the Penguins, you need your best players to take a stand and perform their best. These are the three best players the Devils have to offer and for Hall, it is a chance to pick up 20 goals on the season. He already has 52 points (19,33) which is leading the team with Palmieri right behind at 51 (25,26).

Prediction:

The Devils jumped over the Vancouver Canucks in points following Tuesday’s win. They sit at 70 points to the Canucks 69. This has the Devils at the 5th overall pick in the draft right behind the Vegas Golden Knights and Canucks. The Penguins are fighting to keep home ice against the Blue Jackets. Overall, The Devils will not be ready for tonight and the Penguins are going to have a festival. 5-2 Penguins is your final score. I do not like it anymore than you guys do.
