Match Overview
After the shootout win at home against the Anaheim Ducks, the New Jersey Devils look ahead at a Western Canadien road trip. The Devils enjoyed home cooking which saw them end with a record of 3-1-0 over the team’s home stand. Even though it’s been a down year for the Devils, this is a strong stretch of hockey they are playing. The team will look to carry the momentum into Vancouver tonight.
The Vancouver Canucks (29-24-7) sit fifth in the tightly contested Pacific Division. To begin the month of March, they have gone (3-2-0) and are coming off a loss against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Players To Watch
Nico Daws
New Jersey Devils’ goaltender Nico Daws is a driver as to why the Devils have had so much success recently. He has improved and looked poised in the shootout win over the Ducks. Over his last six games, Daws has had a record of 3-3-0 and has posted a .914 save percentage. Look for him to continue his strong play in the net and be a difference-maker for the Devils.
JT Miller
One of the top trade deadline players, JT Miller, is a significant part of the Canucks’ offensive attack. Miller has a solid campaign that sees him leading the Canucks in points with 70. The next closest Canuck has 48. Miller comes in averaging 3.49 points per 60 minutes (PTS/60) and a Corsi-for percentage (CF%) of 54.00. He brings it all, and the Devils will as well if they want to keep him as a non-factor in the game.
